About FontFaces

This site is an ongoing project. It is permanently to be considered "under construction". However, as you may notice, it is rather heavily so, for now, and I'm not sure at all I'll have time to update it in the near future, or finish the improvements I plan for the cartoons list page.

Created in March 2000, FontFaces is a showcase for my Flash/typography work. I will not be able to provide enough material to keep the site interesting, so I though it would be a nice idea if everyone could put their own cartoons/strips/characters online. For now, I'll do the updates myself, but soon I should develop a web interface. I'll keep you posted if you want to hear about it: drop me a note from the mail page. At any rate, if you have any work that you think would fit on this site, please submit it for review!!

As for the ©, don't bother looking. Everything that appears in this site and that is not credited to someone else was made by me, and I grant anyone who might want to use any part of the site the right to do so. I would like to hear from anyone who's re-using some elements, but you don't even have to do that. Using stuff without crediting properly is evil, though.

By the way, the font used for this site is Cholla Slab, one of the most beautiful Emigre fonts.

Hmm, let's write something about myself. My name is Raphaël Mazoyer, I work for PointComma, a European company offering solutions for efficient computer mediated communication. I am also a Digital Media Design student at the Utrecht school of Arts, in the faculty Art, Media and Technology, in Hilversum, the Netherlands. I am a French citizen (like, I speak French and stuff).
